Portfolio
A portfolio of things that are alive. Every item below is running right now, and every item names the skills it proves.

Most portfolios are screenshots of things that shipped once. Mine is different in one important way: most of what’s below is alive right now — stores selling real inventory, systems answering real customers — and I don’t just build these things, I operate them, which means every claim on my Skills pages gets tested continuously, in production. Each item names the skills it proves: no skill without proof, no proof without a named skill.

The Strategic Intelligence Engine
The flagship. One engine that turns a business’s knowledge into a governed, retrievable, chat-able asset — running today across my sites, including this one. Built solo, from architecture to production operations, and productized deliberately rather than hyped early.

Bernard Hats
Vintage and classic men’s headwear — a working WooCommerce store and a content authority in its niche, conceived, built, and operated solo since 2013. Real inventory photographed and cataloged to a professional standard, a knowledge base covering makers and materials, and an AI shop assistant answering customers against live stock.

Lamontre Watch Company
The newest venture: a partnership in luxury vintage and heritage timepieces, in its early pre-launch build. My side is the build — site, WooCommerce catalog, and a watch-vertical engine instance — while my partner brings deep vintage-watch expertise to the collection. High-ticket, information-dense commerce: a category that punishes sloppy product knowledge, which is exactly why it runs on the engine.

Top Pizza
The longevity proof. A WooCommerce online-ordering store I built more than ten years ago for a working local pizza shop — and it has been taking orders and producing steady monthly sales ever since, through platform updates, plugin churn, and shifting payment expectations. The real test of a build isn’t launch day; it’s the decade after. Next in line for the engine.

This Site
adambernard.com is itself a portfolio item. The knowledge base behind it is a working demonstration of knowledge engineering — structured, governed, retrievable — and the chat is the engine serving personal knowledge instead of a product catalog. The site you’re evaluating is built from the skills it describes.

Lynx Digital
The agency — 25+ years. Founded as a web shop in the early internet and evolved through every major shift since: web development, SEO, and paid advertising for businesses in Calgary, Hamilton, and beyond. Where these skills are delivered as client engagements, with this portfolio as the standing evidence.

AutoTrader.ca (Trader Corp)
~400 dealer websites. As an online sales consultant at one of Canada’s largest automotive marketplaces, I was responsible for the digital success and retention of roughly four hundred dealership websites — guiding dealers through the shift from traditional advertising to data-backed digital strategy, at portfolio scale.

AIM Experts
Built, grown, acquired. A B2B inventory-syndication platform for car dealerships — VIN-decoded data feeds pushed automatically to Google, Facebook, and the marketplace portals. The platform’s effectiveness led to its acquisition by AutoVerify. The clearest exit on this page.

Shaunessy Home
Boutique automation. For a high-touch interior decoration studio: an elegant portfolio site plus a conversational project-intake system wired into CRM and a visual pipeline — lead capture that qualifies clients instead of collecting emails.

Sparta Commercial Services
Three builds for one client: a corporate site rebuild, a multi-vendor crypto e-commerce platform with inventory feeds, and a health-brands WooCommerce store — breadth inside a single engagement.
Two Decades of Client Builds
Beyond the named work above, I was the web guy across an unusual range of industries — skin care, automotive, food, fashion, professional services, and more. In a small business, the web guy is the de facto product seat: you define the offer, build the store, wire the tracking, and answer for whether it sold.
Current In-House Role
The quiet validation tile: I’m employed full-time applying all five skills in-house — the same SEO, platform, AI, paid media, and product work documented across this site, purchased weekly at market rates. The portfolio proves the skills individually; the day job proves them as a bundle.

Every proof is real. If you’d rather interrogate than read, ask my knowledge base — it knows this portfolio in more depth than this page shows.
The claims are checkable. Check one.
Everything above links to something running — the fastest check is the chat, which answers from my knowledge base, live. My weeks are already spoken for, so read this as a working record, not a pitch. And when a business needs this kind of work built, that’s exactly what Lynx Digital does.
