Project: AdamBernard.com

Role: Founder, Architect & Knowledge Engineer
Timeline: 2012 – Present (rebuilt as a living knowledge system in 2026)

Project Summary

This site is its own case study. AdamBernard.com began as a personal consulting site and was rebuilt in 2026 around a single idea: a skill is a claim, and claims can be checked. Instead of service pages and promises, the site runs on evidence , five documented skills, a live portfolio, a structured personal knowledge base, and a chat that answers questions about me from that knowledge base, in production, on every page.

The Challenge & Opportunity

Personal sites all make the same unverifiable claims. The opportunity was architectural: if my knowledge were structured well enough , governed, retrievable, machine-readable , then the site could demonstrate capability instead of describing it. The medium becomes the message: evaluating the chat is evaluating the skill.

The Solution

  • A structured personal knowledge base , skills, projects, domains, and principles, authored in a version-controlled vault with semantic-intelligence fields on every entry.
  • Vault-authoritative pages , the site’s pages are written as governed source files and published through a diff-review-apply pipeline; nothing changes silently.
  • The Strategic Intelligence Engine , the same engine that runs my commerce sites serves this one, powering the Ask My Brain chat with structured-first retrieval and a designed refusal to fabricate.
  • Skills → proof → projects , every skill page links its evidence; every portfolio item names the skills it proves.

The Results

A personal site that works like a working system: interrogate it at Ask My Brain, read the claims at Skills, or check the evidence right here in the portfolio. Everything on it is running , including the thing you’d use to verify that.
