Project Summary

Top Pizza (top-pizza.com) is a WooCommerce online-ordering store I built more than ten years ago for a working local pizza shop , and it has been taking orders and producing steady monthly sales ever since. The real test of an e-commerce build isn’t launch day; it’s whether the store is still earning, without drama, a decade later. This one is.

The Challenge & Opportunity

Local food-service e-commerce has to survive conditions most builds never face: nightly order volume from non-technical customers, years of platform and plugin churn, and constantly shifting payment and online-ordering expectations , all on a small-business budget with no development team behind it.

The Solution

A deliberately durable WordPress + WooCommerce build: proven components over novelties, an ordering flow tuned for repeat local customers, and an architecture simple enough to maintain cheaply for years. Boring infrastructure, chosen on purpose , longevity was the design goal, not a lucky outcome.

The Results

Ten-plus years of continuous operation and steady monthly sales , dependable, unglamorous e-commerce that has quietly paid for itself many times over. Top Pizza is also next in line for a Strategic Intelligence Engine deployment, extending the same site with a governed knowledge core and customer-facing chat.
