For over 25 years, I founded and have led Lynx Digital, a boutique digital marketing agency dedicated to helping businesses in Calgary, Hamilton and beyond establish and grow their online presence. What began as a web development shop in the early days of the internet has evolved into a full-service agency adapting to every major shift in digital technology. My primary role has been to serve as the lead strategist, architecting comprehensive solutions that integrate web development, search engine optimization (SEO), and paid advertising to drive measurable results for our clients.

The Challenge & Opportunity

The core challenge has always been the same: cutting through the noise of the ever-changing digital landscape. When I started, the challenge was simply getting businesses online. Today, it’s about navigating complex search algorithms, building high-performance e-commerce platforms, managing sophisticated ad campaigns, and creating content that resonates with specific audiences. The opportunity lies in acting as a trusted, long-term partner who can provide clarity and deliver a tangible return on investment.

My Solution & Process

As the principal consultant, I developed a client-centric process focused on understanding core business goals before recommending any technology or marketing tactic.

  1. Strategy First: I lead discovery sessions to define KPIs, target audiences, and competitive landscapes. This ensures every action is purposeful.
  2. Custom Web Development: I have personally architected and overseen the development of hundreds of websites, primarily using WordPress for its flexibility and scalability.   3. Data-Driven Marketing: I direct and execute SEO and SEM campaigns. This involves in-depth keyword research, on-page and technical SEO audits, content strategy, and managing Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising budgets to maximize lead generation and sales.
  4. Long-Term Partnership: The goal is never a one-off project. I focus on building lasting relationships, providing ongoing maintenance, performance reporting, and strategic advice to help clients adapt and thrive.
